IMPORTANT MILE STONES:
Year 1888 - Clark Memorial was established by Fred and Harry Lathrop. It was originally known as Newton Marble and Granite Works.
Year 1899 - C.W. Clark (Lathrop's brother-in-law) became a partner in the business.
Year 1902 - C.W. Clark acquired the business and changed the name to C.W. Clark and Son.
Year 1910 - The present brick building was built by C.W. Clark and is the exact location as the original business.
Year 1925 - Merritt A. Clark (C.W.'s son) acquired the business and changed its name to Clark Memorial Shop.
Year 1940 - Roland L. Clark (Merritt's son) acquired the business.
Year 1975 - James Dhom and Gene Schackmann joined Roland as partners; both had worked in the business for approximately 20 years prior to this.
Year 1982 - Upon Roland's retirement, Dhom and Schackmann acquired the business as partners. They incorporated in 1987.
Year 1997 - Mark and Karen Bolander acquired the business and changed the name to Clark Memorial, Inc. Don Hickox is their manager.
Year 1998 - In March renovations of the indoor display were completed.
Year 2002 - State of the art setting truck and mixer system was added to fleet.
